Highlighting significant enhancements for the Chinese civilization, such as new units and bonuses, in addition to the incorporation of a new civilization and a novel scenario called "Xie An".

Players can expect this update by mid-April, specially designed to enrich the experience of the most dedicated competitors.

Since its initial release in 1999 by Ensemble Studios and Microsoft, "Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings" has been a cornerstone in the real-time Strategy video game genre, appreciated for its meticulous historical accuracy and complex strategic gameplay.

The game invites players to lead one of several civilizations based on real historical entities, each with unique units, technologies, and development trees.

Predominantly set in the Middle Ages, the game challenges players to advance through different eras, each presenting new opportunities for units and technologies to build cities, gather resources, and forge powerful armies for defense or conquest. The continued success of Age of Empires II has spawned several expansions and remastered versions, including "The Conquerors", "The Forgotten", "The African Kingdoms", "Rise of the Rajas", and the most recent "Definitive Edition" released in 2019 to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the original game.

This edition includes all previous expansions, new campaigns and civilizations, along with a total overhaul of the graphics.

Beyond its sustained popularity among strategy game enthusiasts, Age of Empires II has cultivated an active modding community and continues to be a competitor in the esports scene, solidifying its legacy in video game history.
